Our Renewable Energy Services

TerraQuest Corporation has been an upstream developer of renewable energy resources for more than 20 years.

With the use of its proprietary weather and climate datasets, which cover all North America on a 1 Km grid, the Company has a successful track record of correctly locating highly profitable, renewable energy projects.  Two of these projects have been acquired by industry leaders.  These include the 200 Mw (Megawatt) Goodwell Wind Farm in Texas County, Oklahoma, completed in 2015 and operated by Enel Green Power, NA; and the 522 Mw Sagamore Wind Farm in Roosevelt County, New Mexico, which commenced operations in December 2020.   The Sagamore project is owned and operated by Xcel Energy.

Additionally, TerraQuest has the experience and expertise to acquire the renewable energy rights with surface leasehold, install towers with various sensors and telemetry equipment to record and transmit various onsite meteorological parameters, the network facilities to take receipt of the data, and the software applications to manage and manipulate the data.   The Company has conducted field operations throughout Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.

As a result of being involved with a significant number of projects in many areas, TerraQuest has expanded its capabilities to include more downstream activities, such as project permitting, managing studies dealing with endangered and protected species, environmental and geotechnical site reviews, and determining project energy resource values.

The Company looks forward to supporting other developers and operators with their projects as well as partnering with others to jointly develop renewable energy resources.

The TerraQuest team has installed many data collection towers throughout the U.S.  The one pictured is in southwestern Kansas.

We have the experience and expertise to install a variety of weather and climate sensors at various height levels on a tower, as well as telecommunication equipment needed to transmit the collected data to our network control facilities.
